Asthma in Elders

My mother has asthma and we are a bit scared because she often has breathing problems. In order to manage her medical expenses we have to work hard. But she'll be left alone in home if we go for work and I don't think that it'll be safe for her. She has to be monitored regularly. So I was thinking of Elderly home care services (http://www.diamondpersonnel.com/for-families/eldercare/). But I don't know whether they are reliable or not. Is it safe to leave my mom with them or should I take some other decision??

  1. Hi Concetta and thanks for posting your concerns about your Mom's asthma and hiring a caregiver for the home. As much as we'd like to assist, it's virtually impossible for us to evaluate home care services in your area. Having said that, your concerns are still very real. I would urge you to evaluate them personally in your own way. This can include checking the local BBB to see if there are any outstanding issues about the company. You can also ask the company itself for references from families in the area that use their services. And of course, there is always the internet where there may be consumer evaluations of the agency, itself. Please check back with us and let us know how you're doing. All the best, Leon (site moderator)

    1. I believe your mom will be safe with them.
