What tests did your Dr. use to diagnose your asthma?

  1. I did a spirometry test, used an inhaler, and then did the spirometry again. While I waited for the inhaler to take effect, I also had skin tests for allergies...which wasn't exactly asthma testing but was closely related.

    1. Hi FeelingShy and thanks for your response. The tests you had seemed to be 'spot on' for helping the physician understand the extent of your asthma and how to treat it. The spirometry helped to measure the degree of obstruction and reversibility while the skin tests help to determine your triggers.
Please do check back and let us know how you're doing.
      All the best,
