Is there anything wrong with only doing a partial nebulizer treatment?

  1. Ideally, you will want to take all of the medicine your doctor prescribes. This is especially true if you are taking asthma controller medicines. If you are taking rescue medicine, I have known some asthmatics (and I'm guilty of this myself) to take a treatment until they get their breath back. Then to quit. However, I would recommend asking this question to your doctor. Together you can decide what is best for you. John. Site Moderator.

    1. Thanks! I was just wondering if only taking partial doses is detrimental. I find that using it for maybe 3-4 minutes helps me all day.

    2. Hi theDaveUSA – everyone responds to medication differently but, as John has suggested, it’s always best to take all the medication which your physician has prescribed, unless otherwise directed by him/her. Please do check back and let us know how you’re doing. All the best, Leon (site moderator)
