If you measure peak flow on a good day (not during an exacerbation), then cough up mucus, then measure again, has your peak flow rate increased?

Hi TracyLee and thanks for this post. One would think if the mucous was coughed up and out, one's peak flow should increase. It probably varies from person to person and also can be affected by the effort generated while doing the peak flow maneuver. Leon (site moderator)
