Asthma from Childhood

I was visiting the hospital the other day, and one of the questions they asked was about my asthma. Until then, I didn't know when all the asthma issues started for me. It was my mom who told them when my asthma started which was when I was a child at about 4 years old. I have pretty horrible asthma and then I have bronchitis issues along with this, just to make things even worse.

The asthma and bronchitis, I think, comes from my dad's side of the family. My granddad was really bad with bronchitis and my dad was really bad with asthma. I think his asthma came from his smoking, but I am not sure because he's passed away and we didn't have much time with my granddad. Some of us have no time at all because he had passed already by the time some of his grandchildren came along. If there is anything else on that side of the family, I am not really sure. But on my mom's side, we have heart condition issues, so that's what I also have to watch out for.
