Asthma

When I was 44 years old, asthma hit me like a freight train, and I am still on the train. I have severe persistent asthma, an on Dulera and Flovent, and often require oral or IV steroids. I now find it difficult to do many things I used to love, like hiking and backpacking. However, I always think about people who cannot afford treatment for their asthma, and am grateful I can afford treatment. It has been life-changing, but I have learned a lot along the way.
