Diagnosed at 42!

I coughed for years, especially after exercise, and spent several weeks coughing while taking codeine cough medicine… before I switched doctors and the new doctor correctly diagnosed it right away. I still don’t use my inhaler as often as I should.

Hi bperlik and thanks for your post. Like Lauren, I can imagine how much better you feel now that you have an accurate diagnosis. It does make treatment so much more effective. You mentioned that you do not use your inhaler as much as you should. Is there a reason you don’t use it when necessary? Perhaps we can make a suggestion. All the best, Leon (site moderator)
