Asthma and GERD

I have had breathing issues all my life. The doctors would always stick a stethoscope to my chest and not hear anything. Never heard anything about the connection between GERD and asthma from them. I don't get coughs but my throat tightens up and I have trouble breathing. I believe it's a combination of GERD and sinus issues. It's especially prevalent at night when lying down.
