Coping with Asthma

Asthma and Pain? Does it exist?

  • By FeelingShy

Sorry to duplicate my comment from, another place…but i am just so relieved to see this topic addressed. Absolutely, pain is usually my first symptom and often the most dominate one. It starts in my back, either along the bottom of my ribcage or between my shoulder blades, and then spreads. On a bad day, my entire ribcage will hurt. It took me a long time to be diagnosed, because I didn’t recognize it as asthma. I knew I had allergy issues, but thought I had a back problem. Hope I am not alone.
