What I Wish Non-Asthmatics Knew

People have made nasty comments like, if you are that sick you should not be here, or when I was in the rest room and coughing up the liquids in my liungs and trying to breathe, oh he is drunk. If you have time to tell them you have asthma they still scowl and do not understand!

    We are sorry to hear that you have experienced this out in public. It is true sometimes people just don't get it and it can certainly be challenging when living with asthma.
