Asthma help?

I have asthma/COPD and my main complaint is shortness of breath. I have a thrush problem from the inhaler, although I always rinsed and gargled after using the inhaler with a spacer. It was the most painful situation and I could only eat soft foods and warm drinks for the first 3 days of the problem. I stopped my inhaler, Zenhale. I don't want to be on steroids.. I was on nystatin from the on-call doctor and it has cleared up the fungus but I still feel it is in my body. I am looking for some help in a natural solution maybe using a nebulizer. Any suggestions?
