Avoiding Triggers

I react severely to smoke (of any kind.) In addition to taking my prescribed medications: I try to avoid asthma triggers (including smoke, chlorine & food triggers. This narrows my social life. How do others of you avoid asthma triggers & still live a full life? (I feel like I'm walking the "asthma" tightrope.)

  1. Hi ajnebula and thanks for this thought-provoking post. While you may hear from others in our community, I thought you might find it interesting to look over this article, by our own John Bottrell, on this particular topic: https://asthma.net/living/living-normal-with-asthma/.
You also may want to consider posting your inquiry in the Q & A section of this website, which you can locate here: https://asthma.net/q-and-a/. Sometimes, that section will elicit more of a reply.
    We appreciate your input.
    All the best,
