Biological Therapy

After a late diagnosis of sophisticated asthma and many traumatic hospital emergencies, I was put on biological therapy. I have only been on it 2 months. 1 injection a month but apart from an awful headache the week after each jab it has already proved itself. I have been in the hospital with pneumonia and whilst I needed some oxygen, I never felt like I was having an asthma attack. This time I was home on oral antibiotics after 3 days. No long stay, no intensive care, and 4 days into my antibiotics I am feeling great. I won't bore you with the details but my immune system is compromised so I feel I have been given a new lease of life without the added risk of asthma attacks. 🙂 I hope this inspires people to give it a try if clinically you are suitable for it.

  1. - Thank you for sharing your journey. You've truly been through quite a bit concerning your health. It's encouraging to hear how much you've improved within a short 2 months. Going through everything you've experienced must have been quite overwhelming. I am truly glad you're feeling better now, especially after having pneumonia.

Headaches can be a tough side effect to deal with. It's terrific this new therapy is making a difference in your health offering you a better quality of life. Sharing this journey surely offers others hope and inspiration when it comes to exploring new treatment options to improve one's health. Wishing you continued improvement. Rebecca (team member)
