Cleaning products

Are there recommendations for cleaning products that are safer with severe asthma? The AAFA does not have much to choose from other than one laundry detergent and a dusting spray. Are there products out there that have reduced scent, are less like to get into the air? Thank you

  1. Hi katalin, and thanks for your post and question - it's a good one! I am hopeful others in the community will see your inquiry and respond by sharing their own anecdotal experiences with asthma and cleaning products.
In the meanwhile, I thought you might gain some additional insight from this article which speaks to this very topic: https://asthma.net/living/cleaning-house.
I do hope you find the information is helpful in a practical way.
    Wishing you well,

    1. Hi Katalin, thank you for posting this discussion topic and question. I, too, have recently found myself asking the same question. So, I've searched online and found a few links and recommendations, which I will share below. A popular piece of advice seems to be to consider making your own cleaning solutions using products such as baking soda, white vinegar, Castile soap, etc.

Here is the list of resources; I hope this information is helpful for you and others.
