Himalayan Salt Inhaler

About a week or so ago I started using a Himalayan salt inhaler. For my asthma I use 2 puffs of symbicort twice per day and ventiline around 5 times per day.
Since I've been using the salt inhaler (9 days) I haven't used my ventiline at all. I wake up and my lungs are not tight. I'm going to try and reduce my symbicort next. Anyone else try a Himalayan salt inhaler??

  1. Hi buckw65 and thanks for your post. While others in the community may share their experiences with Himalayan Salt Therapy, I thought you might find it helpful to look over this article on that very topic: https://copd.net/answers/himalayan-salt-lamps/. It is from our sister site: COPD.net.

    1. Hello. I just saw your post about using a Himalayan Salt Inhaler to supplement your asthma treatments. You indicated that you experienced positive results within nine days of the Himalayan Salt therapy. I realize your post is from 2018 (almost 5 years ago); however, I am curious to know if you're still supplementing your asthma management using the Himalayan Salt Inhaler and what has been your overall impact of this form of therapy for treating/improving/eliminating your asthma symptoms.

I recently saw some interesting YouTube videos about using Himalayan Salt and Himalayan Salt Inhalers for lung congestion. They were created and shared by Dr. Eric Berg (a board-certified chiropractor in Virginia.) The links are listed below.

I appreciate your time and consideration and welcome your reply. Thank you.
