LABA’s with Atrial Fib

I am having a hard time controlling my asthma theses past few months. I am on Flovent HFA and Levalbuterol . I have a past history of A Fib. Recently I was put on Spiriva Respimat along with the others. The Spiriva helped but the dry mouth was too much. Now searching into LABA’s but due to my paroxysmal a fib I am hesitant because I don’t want it to trigger the a fib. Is there anyone on this forum that also has a fib and has been successful with LABA’s share there thoughts ? Thank you !

  1. Hi rose, and thanks for your post. You've posed an excellent question! I am hopeful others in the community will see your concern and respond by chiming in and sharing their own personal experiences with asthma, atrial fibrillation and long acting beta agonists (LABA's).
I also think this is just the sort of question you may want to discuss with your prescribing physician. Your doctor (and you!), know your disease best and may be able to determine the best medication regimen for your specific level of disease.
    What do you think?
