Asthmatic with a heightened sense of smell

I read a comment by another person here asking about having a stronger ability to smell asthma triggers. May I just say I resonate 100% with that statement. I probably always had asthma when I was younger but I didn't know what is was and for some reason when I felt that weird feeling of my chest tightening up I would have a cup of coffee. I always had relief from doing that. Flash forward to 12 years ago. I had been a smoker for decades. I decided to quit and honestly it was easier than I thought. However I became extremely asthmatic as a result. Perfumes I enjoyed wearing, cleaning products I used, cigarette smoke, smoke of any kind, dust, pollen, air pollution, I could no longer tolerate. My roommate recently opened a bottle of wart remover in his room. I immediately tightened up and asked him what he was using. The odor had spread throughout my house. Despite 3 air purifiers I had to leave my home for 2 hours. So yes, my sense of smell has become uncanny. I can smell cigarette smoke 2 blocks away.
