  1. Hi Rose, and thanks for your post. You've posed a good question!
You may be aware we cannot provide medical advice over the internet (for your own safety), but your concern certainly warrants a reply.
First, I would suggest you ask this question of your prescribing physician, and/or pharmacist. These medical professionals should be familiar with your particular case and be able to advise you of the order in which you should take these medication/inhalers.
I will say that working with patients and pulmonary physicians for many years as a respiratory therapist, we suggest that patients take the bronchodilator first. The thought process is the bronchodilator will open the airways sufficiently to enable a better deposition for the other medications. I'll be curious to hear what your doctor / pharmacist recommends.
Please know, Rose, that you are always welcome here in our online community! We are here to provide support in any way that we can assist you. We appreciate your participation in the communit.
    Wishing you well,

    1. Hi. As a respiratory therapist myself, I would second what said in his great response. Please do keep us posted on what you learn and what you end up doing. As Leon noted, I would recommend to my patients to take the levalbuterol first, the Spiriva second, and the Flovent third. That would be the order as per what we respiratory therapists are taught. Although, it will be neat to hear what your doctor's thoughts are on this topic. John. Asthma.net community moderator.
