Swimming before work!

Having found that the sea air is so good for relieving my asthma symptoms and enabling me yo breathe easier, I have decided to incorporate a sea swim before I start work.
My shift begins at 2:10 today (weird times as I drive a bus!).
So I will get to the beach, approx 20min drive, 2.5 hours before, giving me time to swim - an exercise I can do without getting out of breath and time to dry in the sunshine whilst having lunch.
I'm really hoping to continue this routine during the colder months too and have invested in a dry robe and small float.
Going to try and do this at least 2 times a week πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Local beach at Wembury

  1. Another day another beach! The view from the top after a swim.

    1. Wow, Seaspirit - how I envy you, too! This is a wonderful plan for you to incorporate into your day. I guess it's fortuitous for you to have this job that begins at 2 o'clock in the afternoon - it facilitates you swimming when you can!
Keep up the good work and, thanks for sharing this with the community!
      All the best,

  2. Omgsh, !!!! This sounds like a fabulous plan. Wishing I had a beach to head to daily before work. As I stated in an earlier post, I may need to move to a better location. I am able to get out in the sun and get rays into my retinas and wake up, but taking a cool swim and exercising in the fresh air just .... stimulates the senses. I am jealous. How wonderful for you! Keep us up-to-date on your progress and definitely continue to upload the great photos! I am living vicariously through them. Rebecca (comm advc)

    1. I noticed that too this summer I felt like a junky trying to inhale salty air lol
