What nebulizer will I need to use for Sterile 0.9% NaCl Saline Solution?
What nebulizer will I need to use for Sterile 0.9% NaCl Saline Solution? I have a mesh nebulizer I use for my Ipratropium Bromide and Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Solution, but the instructions say not to use saline with that nebulizer.
Is there a nebulizer that I can use that is silent like the mesh?

We appreciate your post and question - it's a good one! If the mesh nebulizer which you currently use (for Ipratropium treatments), cautions against the use of saline, you are wise not to use it for such purposes.
I would suggest you can use just about any standard, disposable jet nebulizer, available on the market today, for the nebulization of a normal saline solution (0,9%).
This type of nebulizer may not be quite as quiet at the mesh-type, but it will definitely do the job of nebulizing the saline solution.

I have not made the purchase yet as I am waiting for the prescription from my doctor. I will let the community know how this nebulizer works after I use it. Hi migoblu - thanks for the reply and explanation. We will look forward to hearing back from you whenever you are ready and have the time.
