"I just had my appointment with the allergist as I am following up after having an asthma attack where I had to go to Urgent Care a week ago. My spirometry test seemed to go okay. I was prepared and detailed with how I have been feeling lately. I was given Spiriva to use as a second controller medication. I believe that Spiriva will really help me. The doctor asked me to consider starting with Nucala. After the appointment I went to another spot to have some blood work. The results of the blood test will come back probably tomorrow. I'm not sure yet if I will end up taking Nucala. I am confident that I can get control of my asthma long term. It will be a process but I believe that I will be able to breathe easier soon. "
Hi. I just asked how you were doing on another thread, and then I saw your update here. Glad everything went well, and happy to hear you have some options that you haven't tried yet. Patience and trial and error are key. I hope your bloodwork is normal. One less thing you'd have to manage. Keep us posted. -Melissa, team member
