Breo vs Advair

Is anyone on Breo experiencing difficulty breathing during cardio exercise?

  1. Hi Crazy and thanks for your post. Just so everyone is clear on these medications Breo and Advair are similar, but they are not exactly the same medication. Here are articles on each specific medication to clarify the differences and similarities: First Breo: https://asthma.net/?s=breo. I will post the reference for Advair in the next reply. Wishing you the best, Leon (site moderator)

    1. Hi Crazy - as promised, in this reply the reference for Advair can be found here: https://asthma.net/treatment/advair/.

      1. Hi Crazy. I'd like to know how things are going with you. I'm on both right now. I get a slight arrhythmia from the Advair but that happened when I was on it years ago and it's really just an annoyance. How soon were you able to return to exercise? I know it might not apply to me but my docs don't know yet when I'll be able to do it. thanks, Val

        1. Apologies for delay. I've been traveling and enjoying my new found freedom with Breo. I like both Breo and Advair. I think when I catch a respiratory infection, I like Advair the best. But when I'm feeling good, Breo is the best to help me exercise, and be outside a lot. Hope you have found some relief!

        2. Hi again Crazy, and thanks for your reply. Glad to hear you are doing so well and, are enjoying your newly found freedom, using these medications. Warm regards, Leon (site moderator)
