What is the acceptable saturation of smoker client with asthma?

  1. Hi neil and thanks for your post. While we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), your inquiry certainly deserves a reply. In the most GENERAL OF TERMS, acceptable oxygen saturation levels are considered to be in the range of 92-98%. If one is a smoker and/or an asthmatic, those levels may be lower and, depending on the patient/person, they may exhibit symptoms despite an acceptable oxygen saturation level. I would urge you to discuss this further with your prescribing physician who can tailor the conversation to your specific condition. Please do check back and let us know how you're doing. All the best, Leon (site moderator)
