Undiagnosed
I went years being undiagnosed. I would get a cold and it would immediately go to my lungs, I'd cough all night, every night and nothing helped. I'm a runner and would cough and wheeze after every run.
It wasn't until I was married with 3 small kids and couldn't go another night without sleep. I drove myself to the hospital at 3 a.m. I received my first nebulizer treatment. I could not believe I COULD BREATHE!! I was also given an inhaler. I was so excited that I could breathe that I didn't go to sleep! I knew I had asthma and now had a medication for it!
