Asthma and smoking

As a kid, I first had the symptoms while I was playing and my sister took my toy and I started screaming. My parents then gave me warm water mixed with honey and steam. After I was diagnosed with asthma I was prescribed a ventoline inhaler. My asthma was controlled throughout the childhood phase but when I was in college I started smoking and also smoked hash a lot. The symptoms I have are wheezing and inability to inhale it's like I can't breathe. The symptoms got worse over time to the extent that I am now taking an inhaler multiple times a day. Now after 11 years of regular smoking around 7 to 10 cigarettes a day, I quit smoking. It is been a month that I have shifted to nicotine pouches to help me cop up with the withdrawal symptoms.
My symptoms are getting better I used to take an inhaler multiple times and the inhaler would end up after 15 days sometimes sooner. I was taking it multiple times a day.
Hope I can quit it permanently and can improve my lifestyle.
That's my story what's your's..
