Is anyone else on Tezspire? I just had my second dose for chronic asthma complicated by Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). I'm not seeing any difference and am interested in other people's stories. Thanks.

Hi. Maggiecat/1 Thank you for your post and your question. It is a good one. And like you, I am interested what others have to say about it. Typically, from what I have learned, it can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months before you start to notice improvements with this type of treatment. Did your doctor provide any guidance on the expected timeline for seeing improvements with the treatment? Wishing you all the best. John. community moderator

Thanks. No guidelines. He also sent me to an otolaryngologist cough specialist at the same time.

Hello, Maggiecat/1.
I have been on Tezspire for one year. At first I didn’t really notice much improvement but after a few months I began feeling much better. My rescue inhaler use is down, my nighttime symptoms are down, and I haven’t had any ER visits or need of prednisone since I began taking Tezspire in May 2023. Prior to starting Tezspire I was in the ER frequently and taking prednisone regularly due to viral infections and especially after an extremely bad bout of Covid-19 and subsequent worsening of my asthma. Feel free to reach out if you would like to talk about it. I hope it helps you as well.
Best wishes,
Shelley
