Out of country care

I am recently a returning Canadian from the United States. I've had severe asthma for 50 years and COPD. I must tell you that being in the United States for 50 years and being treated by a pulmonologist, the care I get here in Canada is much more intense and molecular. I have learned and improved so much since I’ve been back in Canada from the United States. For one thing, the pulmonologist is around $200, at least just to see him. Then if you need any other test you're going to be looking in the thousands of dollars and believe me there is nothing there that they can do that you can’t get here. There are no other treatments for eosinophilic asthma or allergic asthma or any other kind of asthma that you can’t get treatment for here. I hope my contribution to your story helps you to know that you are in the best country for the best care.

Thanks for your post. We appreciate you sharing the comparisons you made between medical care available in the United States and in Canada. This is very interesting to read.
    Wishing you well,
