Sense of Smell
I have no sense of smell. Passive cigarette smoke triggers my asthma. I can be right next to someone who smokes and not know it. That is, of course, until my asthma flares! My chest tightens, I cough, wheeze, and it is hard to breathe. It is from irritants damaging my airways.
Oh Wow! This must be so scary given that you can't smell the irritant until it's too late. Do you tend to keep your inhaler with you at all times, in case a situation like this arises?
