Has anyone prevented the asthma cough?
Recently three months back I have got asthma and actually, I have got diagnosed late I guess. Because I was having all these wheezing and chest pain for quite a long time. Almost 2 years. For me, during cold, I often get a strain of blood with a cough and it persists for one or two days and then everything gets fine. Now as I have been diagnosed with asthma, still I want to know if there is anyone who faces the same problem? And how can I prevent them?

If you're speaking of 'preventing' asthma attacks, anything that you are able to do to avoid your own personal triggers will help. Staying compliant with prescribed medication is also a way to manage your condition. For me, the best thing to try and prevent the asthma cough is to take my inhalers as prescribed. Depending on triggers or other viral infections then I don't always succeed, but it is the most surefire way to ensure my lungs are ready to withstand what comes their way.
