Asthma Issues While at Work

At work today I started to have some issues with my asthma and I had to find a quiet room around the office to do a breathing treatment. I get shy about my asthma so I made sure it was a spot where no one would see me. I was wondering if it's common for people who have had issues at work to find a quiet place to either use their inhaler or nebulizer

  1. Hi there, you bring up an interesting topic. Thanks for sharing. Were you able to get your breathing under control using breathing techniques and a breathing treatment? Is your workplace supportive of you during these times? All the best, Lauren (team member)

  2. Hi Lauren. I was able to get my breathing under control with a breathing treatment and a couple of breathing techniques I have learned to do. The workplace is supportive, though I do try to hide a little bit when I am flaring as I don't want people to worry too much when I know what steps I need to take to get back to breathing well.
