Asthma symptoms can be very unexpected and sometimes frightening. What are your scariest asthma symptoms? And how do you cope with them?
cough that won't stop
the remediation started on Oct. 6, but they couldn't come the next day. They picked back up on Oct. 8 and on the 9th I started noticing that my cough was better. On the 10th they installed the dehumidifier in the crawl space. As of today, the cough is much better, but I still have a bit of trouble with singing/vocal chords. I see the neurologist soon so maybe they can give me some guidance. That's awesome that the improvement happened so quickly! About your voice, have you ever been evaluated for vocal cord dysfunction? It can share a lot of symptoms with asthma. This article explains more:

Sudden coughing attack where I can barely catch my breath. Nebulizer and inhalers help calm me down. But I can clear a room very quickly.
yes mam that's scarey . An it's like no one understands unless they been there . .. when them attacks happen makes u feel better iif someone's just there .. I go immediately into the nose breathing in an out the mouth purged lips that helps me best Pursed lip breathing is such an important skill for anyone with a respiratory problem! I'm glad you know it and use it, it can make a big difference.

A reaction to aspirin, after being tested a few months before. Ended up in ER via ambulance.

Cough that won't allow a breath in, once I couldn't even use my inhaler. Put me in the hospital for 3 days. Thought I was dying before I called 911.
this is mine too. The moment I couldn't breathe in or out. I was lucky enough to be in hospital at the time, having my worst asthma attack. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.
