Asymptomatic asthma…new drug/treatment Nucala?

Wife has asymptomatic asthma, does not present the usual symptoms during attacks, very difficult for ERs & personnel to identify & treat…has anyone tried new drug Nucala for asymptomatic or eosinophilic asthma???

  1. Hi CommunityMember06345b, and welcome! I see you are a new member here, having joined today, just about 2 hours ago. We are glad to see you already engaging with the community through this, your first post.
I am hopeful others in the community, who have experience with Nucala, will chime in and share their stories with you. In the meanwhile, I thought you might want to look over the published material we have (right here on asthma.net), which speaks to the use of Nucala. For your convenience, here is a link to those articles: https://asthma.net/search?s=nucala.
I do hope the information is helpful for you in a practical way.
Have you and your wife had an opportunity to discuss this type of treatment with your physician?
    Wishing you well,
    Leon (site moderator asthma.net)

      1. Hi again and thanks for sharing. I'm glad that you are feeling some asthma relief at least some of the time. Is there anything specific that triggers your asthma? Are there any questions specifically that we can answer to help you feel as though your asthma is well controlled? Wishing you all the best, Lauren (team member)
