I live your story. Having a sensitive nose is under appreciated as a thing. I’m betting 10% of everyone has it but may not really know it. Asthma hits 10% of people so that means having both asthma and a sensitive nose only occurs in 1% of asthmatics.
It’s an interesting menagerie of people. It’s good to have a sensitive nose if you are a chef, wine maker, perfume maker, etc. it’s good or bad to be the first to smell a dead mouse in one’s house. Children of sensitive nose mothers are forced to take more baths and showers because they ‘stink’. If you’re buying a new house you can readily tell which house had pets. I could go on and on.
