Long term psychology from asthma treatments in the 60s

Is there anyone else out there questioning the long term psychology effects of your asthma treatments from the 1960's and 70's? My treatments included medically induced asthma attacks in the Drs office. I was given injections to trigger my symptoms, told to try to prevent a full blown attack I needed to control my breathing. When my breathing would get worse I'd be given an inhaler, generally I was given 2 opportunities to succeed with the inhaler. I was pushed to control my breathing and when I inevitably failed would be given a shot of adrenaline. These treatments started at a rate of 3 times a week. I'm looking to find people with similar experiences.
