Morphine Tablets causing my asthma

Does anyone else taking slow release morphine- MST Continus 10mg feel that it is causing asthma. I am certain this medication is causing mine but my doctor maintains that there is no medical evidence.

  1. That sounds really frustrating, especially when you feel a connection but aren’t getting clear answers. Medications can affect people differently, even if it’s not widely documented. It might be helpful to get another perspective from a different provider or pharmacist (if you haven't already!). Hopefully others in the community can share if they’ve experienced anything similar! -Kimberli (Team Member)

  2. I have multiple medications that trigger my asthma and the list is constantly growing. I let any doctor know that there will be a possibility of a reaction to any new medication or treatment and always keep my albuterol and epi pen handy

    1. That sounds like a lot to manage, especially with the list continuing to grow. It’s great that you’re advocating for yourself and making sure your doctors are aware, being prepared like that can make such a difference. -Kimberli (Team Member)
