Moving with Asthma

Summertime tends to be peak moving season, which can be equal parts exciting and stressful. The whole process, from packing to the actual move itself, can also bring on a number of asthma triggers.
What are your tips for moving with asthma? Are there any steps you take to avoid an exacerbation? Share them below!

  1. Identical to yours. Especially, when moving into a house where lies hidden mold or sawdust.
    Best of luck!

    1. Thanks for chiming in and explaining your experience. I can imagine that both mold and sawdust would be awful for asthma. Can you wear a mask while dealing with sawdust, that might help! -Lauren (team member)

  2. I asked our movers to load our bed in last, so it was the first thing they unloaded and set up. That way, if I needed to rest I could get into our bed in the bedroom and be out of everyone else's way. BTW, I brought the bedding with my in our car.

    1. What a smart move, especially carrying your bedding with you in the car. You don't need any dust or smells irritating you on your first night! All the best, Lauren (team member)
