"I have had asthma for 47 years and it has moved into multiple chemical sensitivity. I need to remove the tile in my home and the beautiful lethal laminate that has continued to off-gas for 6 years. However, I need to keep my lungs and asthma happy. Has anyone removed tile with the dustram dust free system and does it work? There are several contractors in my are that claim it eliminates or greatly reduced dust during the removal process. I will not be here while the work is done but am worried about the dust left on the ceiling and walls after everything is removed. Any information will be appreciated."
Hi again, Havefun2017 and thanks for this post. While you may hear from others in the community, I was wondering - if you're going to have a contractor do the work, do you think you should also give some consideration to having the cleanup done by someone else as well? That way, you won't have to be concerned about the dust that's created after the tile removal. What do you think? Leon (site moderator)
"Ok"
Having very bad issues with asthma. Looking for an allergist in Arizona that will test one allergen (eg dogs) from two or vendors to determine if I am allergic. Any information will be appreciated.
Hi Havefun2017 and thanks for your post(s). Glad to hear you're feeling okay and hope that feeling continues for you. You said that you were trying to get tested for allergies. How can we assist you with this? Please let us hear back from you. Leon (site moderator)
Need to find an allergist that is familiar with process of using more than one vendor /manufacturer for some allergens. Have a history of testing positive to one vendor's allergen and negative to another's.
Havefun2017 - I hope you're able to find one. I would suggest just making a list in your area of the allergists and calling them one by one and asking. It may be a little time consuming but should save you some trouble in the end.
Let us know how you make out.
