  1. "I had my 6 month follow up appointment with my allergist. I know that asthma can be like a rollercoaster or the stock market and there's good times and bad times and right now I am doing as good with my asthma as I have been in many years. My spirometry and FeNO tests were great. I have been more active and have lost the 10 pounds that I have wanted to drop for years now. It can be tough and easy to get down when my breathing is not as good but right now I am happy and thankful that I have been breathing as good as I have in a good long while. I am going to continue to make sure that I am diligent in taking my medications and checking my peak flow meter so I can continue to do well with my asthma. "

    1. Hi there! So glad to hear that things are going well. Thanks for continuing to keep us in the loop! -Lauren (Team member)

  2. "Next week is my 6 month follow up appointment. I am checking my peak flows twice a day (morning and evening) and also checking my oxygen saturation twice a day and keeping notes on how I am feeling each day to be able to remember to mention any issues with my allergist. I believe I am doing well for the moment but the weather has changed from cold to warm, back to cold, then warm lately and I am hoping that the weather changes don't trigger me into having issues with my asthma. "

    1. Thanks for updating us! Best of luck at your appointment. I'm sure having all of your data will help you to get the most out of your appointment. -Lauren (team member)

    2. It was 82 yesterday near Philadelphia, and today we had snow. It's truly crazy. I hope you're doing okay! -Melissa, team member

  3. "I caught some sort of cold or flu or something and it's led to a lingering cough and more chest tightness over the last week. In a couple days I go to the allergists office to get my next Tezspire dose. I am nervous about telling the doctor that I have been having some issues this week as my chest has been tight at times and my cough has just lingered the last few days. Ever since I was made fun and had people staring at me in school for using my inhaler when I was younger I have been very shy and bashful in letting people know that I have asthma. Even now I try to find a quiet spot where no one can see me use my inhaler. I hope that I have the courage to tell the doctor that I my chest has been tight lately. In 4 weeks I will have my 6 month follow up appointment. I have been taking notes and making sure that I track how I have been feeling. Hopefully my cough will go away soon. "

    1. Hey, Tyson. I feel for you! I got sick a few weeks ago and while I'm feeling better, the dry, obnoxious cough lingers on.

I'm sorry for all the difficulty you've faced with others. People can be so cruel, especially about things they don't understand. I hope that you feel comfortable with your doctor. It's their job to hear about how you are feeling so they have the right information to take care of you. I know you know this already, but sometimes it helps to hear. 😀

By now you've probably had your appointment. I hope everything went well. In the future, maybe you'd feel more comfortable telling the office about new symptoms over the phone or by writing a note in your portal, if they have one. You seem to be doing a good job sharing with us here online. What do you think? -Melissa, team member

    2. Hi Melissa, the appointment went well as I got my Tezspire injection. My cough is slowly going away. If I am continuing to use my rescue inhaler more than 2 times a week I will call in and they will prescribe me prednisone. Right now I am in a good place with my breathing, though asthma can be unpredictable.

    3. I'm so happy to hear that you are in a good spot regarding your asthma and that your cough is slowing going away. Please keep us in the loop as to how you are making out. -Lauren (team member)

  4. "I just took my fifth dose of Tezspire. I have noticed a positive difference in my breathing. I don't react quite as strongly when I am around triggers like secondhand smoke, poor air quality and cold air. I am making sure to stay on top of things to keep my asthma under control. I have learned to not let any symptoms linger and if I start to feel tight to make sure I take my rescue medication before it starts to flare up any worse. I'm working on staying positive and hoping that I can keep breathing well. "

    1. Hi Tyson, I'm so happy to hear that you have noticed a positive difference since your fifth dose of Tezspire. I'm sure that between Tezspire and managing your symptoms and triggers, you have it all under control. Thank you for continuing to share your journey with us. -Lauren (team member)

    2. Love to hear this from you, Tyson! We know how hard you've been working to manage your symptoms. Keep up the good work! -Melissa, team member
