All Before and After COVID

When I was working for 5 years at a duck farm, my asthma got worse because of all the pollen, trees, dust, and COVID. Now I'm not working because I want my asthma in control. I take 2 asthma shots every month. I take Montelukast, 1 pill every day. I take red pump 2 times a day, blue pump when I need it, and a new pump every morning, plus nebulizer before bed and my allergies med. I can't wait to see if I’m getting better soon. I find out in 3 months.

  1. Thanks for taking the time to share your asthma journey. Do you have your follow up appointment in 3 months? Do you know if this includes pulmonary function testing? How are you feeling since starting these medications? I hope that you are feeling well! All the best, Lauren (Team member)

    1. I can only imagine how taxing it was to work on a duck farm with asthma! So many triggers everywhere. While it must be hard to think about, have you ever considered a different line of work in the future? You deserve to be able to work comfortably in an environment that isn't going to make you sick.

I hope the new medication regimen is starting to help and that you're feeling a bit better. Please keep us updated! -Melissa, team member
