Hobbies for Asthmatic

I like anything involving fabric (quilting, patchwork, dress making, embroidery, etc.) but this comes with its own hazards. Just the cutting, machine sewing with my face close to the needle plate, and using batting all spell disaster for my lungs. I get around this by wearing the disposable N95 mask, vacuuming regularly, and choosing batting that is less likely to fragment. It’s a hobby I really enjoy, so I do my upmost to make it as safe as possible. It would appear I have succeeded, and I’m so happy. This hobby helps take my mind off my concerns and gives me something pleasant to look forward to.
